Todd Oberndorfer

The Banyan Collective – Studio 2

Todd Oberndorfer is the Arts Outreach Manager & Advisor for the Department of Visual Art & Design at Weber State University. He is also an Adjunct Art Professor at Weber State University. As Outreach Manager, Todd is the Director of Arts in the Parks, a free summer outreach program that began in 2010 and travels to different Ogden city parks offering opportunities for children and their families to explore visual and performing arts through hands-on activities. In 2019, the Arts in the Parks program served over 3,300 participants.


Todd is a founding member of The Banyan Collective media company.  He is Host of the Nine Rails Arts Podcast and co-host of Van Sessions (live audience podcast & music series), and the Ogden Outdoor Adventure Show (a weekly podcast that began in 2010 as a live radio program). The Banyan Collective produces podcasts focusing on Arts & Adventure, and includes the Ogden Outdoor Adventure Show, Van Sessions, Nine Rails Arts Podcast, LITerally, Through the Pines Financial Podcast, and Leaky Waders Fly Fishing Podcast. Todd Oberndorfer and R Brandon Long, founders of The Banyan Collective, were 2018 Recipients of the Media Arts category at the Ogden City Mayor’s Awards in the Arts.

Oberndorfer is Vice-Chair of the Ogden City Arts Advisory Committee and a Board Member on the Weber Arts Council. As an Arts Advocate, he is a frequent collaborator and consultant with Weber State University, Ogden City Arts, Ogden Downtown Alliance, Ogden’s Historic 25th Street, Summit Powder Mountain, Ogden City Community & Economic Development, Union Creative Agency, and Ogden First.

Todd holds a BFA in 2D Design from Weber State University and combines social action and art by addressing issues such as clean air and population growth in his printmaking and graphic design work.
