The Monarch comes to life through architectural renderings by Carbon Architects
Those who have attended our Hard Hat Tours have been stretching their imaginations to visualize the future of this project. Our construction is moving along (opening date: June 2019!) but we are excited to now offer a better visual of what our space will look like come summer, and how it will function as a creative gathering space for our Ogden community.
The Lobby
The Monarch’s main entrance off 25th Street leads into our lobby space, which serves as an access point to all parts of the building including the exhibition space, creative studios and indoor event venue. This community area can be utilized for events, creative gatherings, art installations and more. The exhibition space in the front of the building will directly engage with the lobby area through a pop out mezzanine with glass front, which overlooks the interactions below.
Creative Studios
The vision for The Monarch has always been to cultivate an engaging environment and artistic outlet for Ogden’s creative community. At the heart of this mission is our creative studio spaces where artists, designers and makers of all types can connect, inspire and create together.
Royal Room
Within the Monarch are multiple designated event venues contributing to the vibrant energy circulating through the building and out into our Nine Rails community. The Royal Room is our largest indoor event space encompassing 10,000 square feet on the top level. In this space, modern design features balance the industrial architecture of the original garage making it ideal for wedding receptions, conferences, live music, corporate parties and more.
See these images come to life this summer at The Monarch! Until then, keep up with our progress on Facebook and Instagram, or book a Hard Hat Tour to check it out for yourself.
